On thin ice

The snow came a bit late, so I decided that spiking rocks through the ice (praying not to fall through) was a better way to spend my time than checking the forecast every thirty minutes hoping it would change. I shot them all at 105mm f/3.0 and 1/1600sec. I suppose I would've had better luck shooting at a higher ISO, but didn't want to sacrifice the clarity for speed. After about 300 tries, only a few were deemed worthy.
